会長からの挨拶 & ビジネスセッション(Greetings from the President and Business Session)
本日の例会はCOVID-19の日本国内における拡大を受け、"Not to be infected and Not to infect others（感染しない、感染させない）"ために、3月度の例会を中止にするという役員決定のアナウンスから始まりました。メンバーによる意見交換の時間が持たれ、自主的なオフラインでのミーティングやセミナー等の実現可能性も含め、活発なやりとりがされました。Today's meeting was started with the topic of the growing COVID-19 threat. The executive decision was to cancel the regular meeting in March, responding to the need for "Not to be infected and Not to infect others". Members exchanged opinions including the feasibility of voluntary offline meetings or seminars.
Toastmaster of The Day（本日のトーストマスター）からのアナウンス(Announcement from the Toastmaster of The Day)
There was a special announcement from the Toastmaster of The Day. Today, we held “No 'Very’ Marathon". This event was to ask ourselves that “Is 'very’ the best choice to express what you want to say here?”. We found many members unintentionally said "Very" though TM Os had kindly sent a list of words in place of "Very" to members. Despite my careful attention, I used “Very” three times in five minutes. It was a great opportunity to consider substitutes for "Very".
準備スピーチセッション( Prepared Speech Session)
“THE BLACK COMPANY” was the speech of the real experience of TM On which started with the unforgettable sentence “Welcome to the black company!”. TM Ot made a speech titled “Secret of f”, and it unraveled the mystery of the violin. TM Bg's speech "Itsy Bitsy Tiny" presented how important to know and to accept fears. TM Yd's speech titled "Small Challenges" was about his efforts from the beginning of his Chinese study to participate in the Chinese speech contest. All speech provided us the courage, knowledge, discovery, and motivation.

あとがき(Afterword)
本日の例会は、COVID-19の影響か、「逆境をいかに乗り越えるか」というテーマのスピーチが多かったですね。少なくとも１か月間、ミーティング形式の例会はないとのことですが、前向きなトーストマスターズのメンバーのこと、スピーチのネタを練ったり、原稿を書いたりと、前向きに過ごされることと思います。また逢う日まで、楽しみにしております。
Today's writer is TM Mt. This is my 5th year since I joined the Toastmasters Club. In today's meeting, there were many speeches including how to overcome adversities. It is officially announced that there will be no meeting for one month, however, I believe that we will overcome this situation.
