エリア52スピーチコンテストレポート(Area 52 Speech contest report)

みなとみらいトーストマスターズクラブが所属するエリア52のスピーチコンテストが2月16日に横浜市開高記念館にて開催されました。英語スピーチコンテストにはインハウスコンテストを勝ち抜いたVPMのGtさん、Osさんが、日本語スピーチコンテストにはTrさんが出場されました。
The contest of area 52 to which Minato Mirai Toastmasters club belongs was held on Feb 16th, Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall. TM Gt, our VPM and TM Os who won the in-house contest entered the English speech contest, and TM Tr entered the Japanese speech contest.

他クラブからの精鋭がひしめく中、Gtさんが英語スピーチの部で第2位、Trさんが日本語スピーチの部で第3位を獲得しました！おめでとうございます！！
Lots of contestants from other clubs competed, TM Gt, got the 2nd place, and TM Tr got the 3rd place! congratulations!!


TM Gtさんは、おもいがけずあわや航空機事故という出来事についての英語スピーチで第2位を獲得されました。
TM Gt got the 2nd place with the speech about the unexpected aircraft incident which occurred to him. 

Osさんは学生時代活躍されたボート部でのお話。声の調子、動作、聴衆とのコミュニケーション、どれも巧みに変化させて使われていた素晴らしい英語スピーチでした。
TM Os told the story of the rowing club in his college days. His vocal variety, body language and engagement with the audience are great with changes.

Trさんは、ご自身が抱くタイトルでもあるこの教訓の由来を、ほろ苦い思い出と共にひも解いていきました。だれしもが経験したことがある失敗談に、多くの共感が集まりました。

Tr delivered the origin of this lesson, which is his own title, with bittersweet memories. We really empathized with his failure stories that everyone has experienced.
