第343回例会レポート

連日のカンカン照りから打って変わって、数日前から大雨が猛威を振るっております。
そんな中、みなとみらいトーストマスターズクラブは、8月14日土曜日、343回例会をオンラインのみで開催しました。
it has getting heavy rain from a couple of days past after endless scorching days annoying us.
Nevertheless, The Minato-Mirai Toastmasters Club held 343rd regular meeting on Saturday, 14th August at Online only.

特に角隠しのエピソードが印象的でした。 
Her speech give us light weight laughing meanwhile the carefully calculated sentences attracted us. Her voice tone, articulation, well selected words ware all good as well.



TM Myさん
出だしの再現劇の表現力には驚かされました。 
I was totally surprised at introduction scene. The practical and concrete analytics against PM theory of leadership seems very useful. applying the theory to our club was also good.

日本人の働き方、価値観に一石を投じる非常に興味深いスピーチでした。 
The speech focused on priority in one's life. And also he has emphasized the theme for next generations to engage meanwhile diversifying global situation.

342nd meeting outline

Minato-Mirai Toastmasters Club held the 342nd regular meeting on Saturday, 24 July Online only.
 
We are in the middle of Hot summer season.
We had welcomed guests as many as countless with a hand on today. It might have been an unprecedented number.
Thank you for joining the meeting.

At the business session, TM Ot-san conveyed the result of the award for Toastmaster of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
Congratulations to each awardee!!
 
 

英語スピーチセッション/Prepared Speech Session

In the prepared speech session, 4 wonderful speakers addressed the captivate speeches.

The first speaker: Mz-san
Speech Title: for my health, as my habit
TM Mz-san told us enthusiastically his habit that he had continued to go to the gym.
Particularly, the result for loss bodyweight gave convince to the speech. and The secret of motivation for continuous was impressive as well.
 
 
 
The second speaker: Iw-san
Speech Title: Watch your step.
His thorough analysis against injury has cut into the essence of the root cause.
The audience seemed also surprised at his widely and deeply viewpoint to prevent injury.
 


 
The third speaker: Og-san
Speech Title: Propose day
TM Og-san delivered an amazing speech about a new stage in his lifetime. I mean He got married!! His dynamic move, facial expression, vocal tone show us ebullient happiness.
 
 
 
 
The fourth speaker: TM As-san
Speech Title: The First Follower
TM As-san's speech started unbelievably with the gimmick "James bond" sequence. The whole audience was completely attracted in one breath. His attitude that pursues clues for growth from even successful projects is highly respected.

341st meeting outline

Minato-Mirai Toastmasters Club held 341st regular meeting on Saturday, 10 July at  Naka-kumin-katsudou-center, in Minato-Mirai and Online.
It’s been a long time to have fine day.

Today, The 15th term of Minato-Mirai Toastmasters Club started, so inauguration ceremony for the new officers was held.

英語スピーチセッション/Prepared Speech Session

In the prepared speech session, 3 wonderful speakers addressed the captivate speeches.
 

The first speaker: Mr-san
Speech Title: Beautiful people
She stately made an amazing speech debut, she enjoyed the speech in front of the audience as well. Congratulations!! At her Ice breaker speech, her thought that changed through unforgettable memory and communication with a friend have been delivered calmly and steadily. 

 
The second speaker: Mk-san
Speech Title: Power of wind
With the unique beginning of speech, all audience completely attracted to the speaker. Well and neutrally analyzed aspects regarding Power of wind have been presented. I am always attracted to her ambience that have little bit mystery flavor.
 
 
The third speaker: Mt-san
Speech Title: My son's name
She delivered very funny and interesting speech regarding naming for baby that will be born nearly next month. And extremely curious experience at Bhutan concerning naming decision was delivered as well. I am really looking forward to baby's arrival!!

あとがき

例会後は「Nkの部屋」と称した英語フリートークをオンラインで開催させていただきました。筆者自身まだまだ流暢なスピーキングには程遠い一方で、ブレイクスルーを予感させる多くの学びがありました（ありがとうございます）。参加者も様々な業界？世代？の交流で話が弾み、開催して本当に良かったなと思います。

この日の司会者とスタッフ/Today's TMOD(Toast Masters of the Day) and staff





この日の司会(TMOD)はOTさん。14周年記念例会にふさわしい落ち着いたユーモアあふれる司会進行はすべての会員が楽しい気持ちになりました。また、集計係も引き受けて頂き、ダブルロールで大活躍でした！
準備スピーカを丁寧に紹介し、計時係や集計係 など会議のサポート役のメンバーも一生懸命サポートし、全員で会を盛り上げようとする姿勢に感動しました。

This day TMOD was OT-san who was the right person to conduct the 14th annual meeting!
Because his sense of humor made us feel relaxed while at the same time his stably conducting meeting was excellent!  
He made a great contribution to accept the double role as TMOD and Vote counter.
I was impressed that the support members such as Timer, Vote counter were eager to work on TMOD.

KW-san's questions related with Today's 14th annual meeting theme while at the same time she gave us her heart-warming atmosphere through her vividly attractive facial expressions. 
I think KW-san has extraordinary talent which leads to the flexibility to conduct this session!

英語スピーチセッション/Prepared Speech Session

そしてメインイベントの英語スピーチでは、5人の素晴らしい英語スピーカーが出演されました。

第一のスピ－カーはYDさんで、スピーチタイトルは「Unforgettaable things in 2011」でした。このクラブ創設者であるYDさんの創設の頃の思い出のスピーチは心を打ちました。


第二のスピーカーはTAさんで、スピーチタイトルは「Memories of Toastmasters」で、格調高い英語によるTAさんのクラブ入会のエピソードは面白く、また定例会を休まずに出席することが、スピーキングの上達の秘訣との展開は、学ぶべき事が一杯ある素晴らしいスピーチでした。また、タキシードのへの早変わりも、ユーモアがあって素晴らしかったです。


第三のスピーカーはIMさんで、スピーチタイトルは「QUIZ TIME! -- Let's enjoy」で、クラブに関する質問は、わからないことが多く、たいへん多くの気づきがありました！
クイズ形式で進行はテンポが良く、終始和やかな気持ちになりました。


第四のスピーカーはIMさんで、スピーチタイトルは「Best home ever」、創設の頃の思い出のスピーチは楽しく、終始釘付けになる素晴らしいスピーチでした！


第五のスピーカーはUCさんで、スピーチタイトルは「Unforgettable memory」、UCのユーモアたっぷりなスピーチは面白く、とても和みました！



Best Prepared speakerはIMさん（4番目のスピーカ）でした。

His founding days episode made me captive and think whether he had been struggling to build this wonderful club. I really appreciate YD-san's sincerity.

The second speaker: TM-san
Speech Title: Memories of Toastmasters
His sophisticated English made me magnetic to listening to his excellent speech in which he put  more emphasis on every regular meeting attending. I've leaned a lot from his excellent speech!

The third speaker: IM-san
Speech Title: QUIZ TIME?--Let's enjoy
She made a great success of capturing audience attention. Because asking some questions related with this club activities to every member was wonderful! At the same time I've  leaned a lot.

The fourth speaker: IM-san
Speech Title: Best home ever
Her sincere speech made me moved while at the same time thinking about the beginning years of this club in 2007. I've been magnetic to listening to her speech from the beginning to end!

The fifth speaker: UC-san
Speech Title: Unforgettable memory
I love UC-san's speech. Because his point of view always has a sense of humor and he leaves room for thinking about his uncertain events!  I really appreciate him!

番外編(Additional Information）

本日、中区民センターで、感染対策を万全に実施した上で、対面式の例会を実施しました。
役員のONさん、UCさん、OGさんに改めて感謝と御礼を申し上げます。
本当にありがとうございます。
やはり対面式は迫力がありますね・・・・・





また、エリア５２役員のONさんもご出席頂きました。ありがとうございました！



Today's regular meeting was held in Naka City Hall Center where we took the perfect preventive measure against COVID19. 
I'd like to express my gratitude to ON-san, UC-san and OG-san
I think it was a big difference between ZOOM and face-to face meeting!  
Face-to-face meeting was more attractive and more dynamic!

 ON-san as the director of Area 52 participated in this 14th annual meeting.
 We would like to express our gratitude to ON-san.

6月退会の会員の方

本日、NKさんが退会されます。

NKさんにおかれましては、今期、会員担当の副会長として献身的に会を支えて頂きました。また、卓越した英語力とユーモアあふれるスピーチは会にとって、かけがえのない存在でした。
本当にありがとうございました。
今後の益々のご発展を祈っております。

Today NK-san leaves this club.　

Regarding NK-san, he has been dedicated to this club as the vice president of membership and then many members has been helped by his kind and generous character.
At the same time I've leaned a lot from his eagerness to improve the Japanese speech more dramatically in area contest. Honestly speaking, I do miss him in this club.
His excellent English speech and his good sense of humor always gave us light , hope and joy.
I think he has been an exceptional member who had been attractive and captivated with many audience!

We would like to express our gratitude to NK-san from the bottom of our heart while at the same time hoping his prosperity in the future! 


あとがき/postscript

1年半ぶりに”みなとみらい”の東急ホテルのLunchに、カミさんの誕生日のお祝いで娘と三人で行きました。みなとみらいの”ゴンドラ”を観ることができ、とても嬉しかったです。
みなとみらい、垢抜けていて、とても素敵ですね！

この1年間、本当にありがとうございました。

会員の方の寛大な心と役員の方のサポート（ONさんがいつもOn-Siteでの写真を送って頂きました、深謝です）で何とか1年間、このHPを更新することができました。

For the first time in one and half year I went to Tokyu Hotel in Minatomirai to celebrate my wife birthday with my daughter.
I was amazing to see the dramatically changing Minatomirai scenery in which gondola had been moving!
Minatomirai is sophisticating site at the same time I think it is similar to my home town in Kobe. 

 For one year I'd like to express my gratitude to every generous member and the officer (especially with ON-san who has been dedicated to sending me the pictures in On-site while at the same time OT-san who has been dedicated to checking the inappropriate description, OS-san who has been dedicated to checking the grammatical errors in English and then I've learned a lot, GT-san, NK-san KW-san and YA-san who encouraged me)

Thanks to many people, I've already completed uploading this HP for 1 year.

When it comes to uploading this HP, I'd like to sincerely apologize to the members who felt hurt, wounded or uncomfortable by my inappropriate description and disappointing pictures.

NK-san as my successor is a heartwarming and sincere person.
Please help him to move forward to the next HP while at the same time looking forward to updating this HP to the NK-san's taste. 
I hope he will change the way he compiles on this website by his taste and ideas.
