英語スピーチ例会レポート/English Speech Meeting Report
新会長のGTさんから示唆に富むスピーチがありました。「今この時代は COVID19の試練に合わせた柔軟な対応が必要であり、少なくとも1年は
この状態が続くでしょう」
私たちのクラブも、この変化に柔軟に対応して行こうと改めて思いました。
The new president GT-san gave the insightful speech to all the members.
Today is flexible to meet COVID-19 hardship and it still opens and one year comes later.
His speech made us rethink that we should handle with this hardship more flexibly.
財務状況の報告/Finance Report Package FY2019
前TreasurerのNKさんより2019年のクラブの財務状況の報告がありました。誠実な説明に感謝申し上げます。
The previous treasurer NK-san reported 2019 finance report to all the members.

この日の司会者とスタッフ/Today's TMOD(Toast Masters of the Day) and staff
This day TMOD was JM-san.
She introduced the bamboo trees which has been equipped with persistent, patience, work hard,fate and flexible.
Her insightful introduction gave the light, hope and joy to all the members.
While at the same time I was impressed that the support members such as Timer,vote counter, and GRAHCO were eager to work on TMOD.
英語スピーチセッション/Prepared Speech Session
そしてメインイベントの英語スピーチでは、4人の素晴らしい英語スピーカーが出演されました。
第一のスピ－カーはODさんでスピーチタイトルは「The compact Democratic leadership style」でODさんの15年前の勤務からの経験に基づく話で、多種多様な役割を担当した際のリーダシップのあり方、そのロールモデルとなる人の存在とその信頼感、また、Nokiaの友人のサウナ文化でのコミュニケーションの伝達など、たいへん面白く、色々考える材料になりました。
第二のスピーカーはNKさんで、スピーチタイトルは「Discovering my leadership style」でNKさんの2つの経験、1つは柔道の中学から大学までの部活動の経験、厳しい練習から脱落者を如何に引き留め、サポートするか、部員の和が何よりも重要であること、
2つ目は就職の経験から、リーダは自分を犠牲にしても、メンバーやチームに役立つ事を実践すべきとの示唆に富むスピーチに、色々、考える材料になりました。
第三のスピーカーはKRさんで、スピーチタイトルは「A few drops of healing」で、コロナ渦の外出自粛でストレスがたまる中、エッセンシャルオイルを活用したリラックス方法とその効能、またエジプトから始まったこの癒やし方法が阪神大震災でも役に立った事など、とても癒やされるスピーチでした！
匂いの持つ脳への効能と認知症にも効果がある事、KRさんの推薦はローズマリーとラベンダーでした。
私もお風呂に入れてみようかと思いました。
第四のスピーカーはOMさんで、スピーチタイトルは「Let's talk about Monthly Club Fee」で、クラブの会費に関する考察をたいへん論理的に展開していく説明に多くを学びました。
説明の構造は大きく以下の5点になります。
1.問題提起 2.現状分析３.仮説（会社と国際組織）4.組織の信条（Credo）5.提案
会社の実務にも使えるこの論理展開を私も学びたいと思いました。
In the prepared speech session, 4 wonderful speakers addressed the captivate speeches.
The first speaker OD-san speech came from her experience which she worked in a small company as many variety role while at the same time she had been struggling with this job and finding out the trustworthy role model.
The Second speaker NK san speech, regarding the leadership styles, he learned 2 points from his experience. The first point was based on Judo training from his junior high school to his university.
The crucial point was that he kept the drop out members at bay while at the same time taking care of the hurt mind members.
The second point was that he learned that a leader should be a sacrifice to all the members from his business carrier.
His speech gave me food for thought.
The third speaker KR-san, in COVID=19 social commotion, we have to stay home for 3 months in a row. We begin to feel frustrated. The essential oil might make us feel relaxed!
This healing efficiency prevents the dementia patience from going worth.
Her recommendation is Rosemary and Lavender. Please try it!
The forth speaker OM-san, he proposed the utility of monthly club fee to all the members.
The persuasive structure consisted of 5 portions which described 1:The proposal,2:Analysis of the present situation,3:The tentative theory,4: Based on the credo,5:New proposal.
I think his speech was well-organized based on the fact and credo while at the same time having a good sense of humor.
I want to use this persuasive structure in my business.
Actually his speech reminded me of Johnson & Johnson Tylenol Crisis explanation which so-called described business legend as making ethical decisions in business.
I guess OM-san knows much about business explanation.

昨日、1ヶ月ぶりに例会後のZOOM飲み会に出席しました。参加者の方の海外生活の色々なエピソードや経験、日本との考え方や様式の違いのお話に
時を忘れて聴き入りました。
このクラブの会員の方は多士済々で私には学ぶ事がいっぱいあって、クラブに深謝です。
Yesterday for the first time in 1 month I participated in Zoom gathering party after the regular meeting.
I had been keen on listening to many variety of attendees' episode and experience from oversea life while at the same time insightful comments to make a big difference between oversea styles and Japanese ones.
I really appreciate this club members because there are the influx of talents and then I'm learning a lot from all the members.
