新任役員選挙
本日は、先日のディストリクト76全国大会での表彰の後、新任役員の選挙が有りました。トーストマスターズでは、一つの役職に対して立候補者が一人でもメンバーの前で合意を得る、という形を取ります。トーストマスターズクラブは「話し方とリーダーシップを学ぶ場」です。ぜひとも実践で経験を積んでくださいね！
本日のword of the day
本日のword of the dayは”(to) regale(vb)”。「意味は大いに楽しませる」、「御馳走する」です。EnjoyやEntertainよりも馴染みの少ない単語です。”R”と”L”の双方が入っているので舌の前後運動が重要です。
準備スピーチセッション
一人目のOTさん。英語スピーチタイトル” Own or lease”。かつては、道具にこだわる「所有派」であったOtさんが海外駐在の経験を経て「レンタル派」になった経緯を語って頂いた英語スピーチでした。
二人目のSbさん。英語スピーチタイトル” Seeing is believing～Indonesia and I～”。Sbさんにとって初めての海外経験であるインドネシアの経験をお話し頂きました。CCマニュアルコンプリートお疲れ様でした！
三人目のAsさん。英語スピーチタイトル” Enjoy your journey”。PathwaysのUnderstanding Your Communication Styleを題材に、自身のコミュニケーションスタイルをアンケート、以前の職場での経験も交えてお話し頂いた英語スピーチでした。
四人目のFwさん。英語スピーチタイトル” Nothing is more important than health！”。GWに自転車で一周した琵琶湖での経験をユーモア交えてお話し頂きました。
あとがき
次期新任役員の中で２名が新任役員、６人が未経験のポジションです。はじめから完璧な仕事が出来る人などどこにもいません。山本五十六の言葉を借りれば、「やってみせ、言って聞かせて、させてみせ、ほめてやらねば、人は動かじ」です。桜木町付近で行われる予定のみなとみらいトーストマスターズクラブを来期もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします！English speech meeting report
Today, we held the election for a new officer following the award at previous the District 76 National Convention! In Toastmasters, each candidate is elected even if there is one single candidate for each position. Toastmasters Club is a place to learn the way of speaking and leadership. By doing the hands-on experience, get experience!
Prepared speech session
The first speaker was TM OT. Speech title was "Own or lease". It was the speech about how TM Ot, who was an own-orient person possessing lots of things, became a lease-orient person after living in a foreign country.The second speaker was Sb. Speech title was "Seeing is believing ~ Indonesia and I ~". She talked about the experience in Indonesia, which is the first overseas experience for her. Congratulation for completing CC Manual!
The third speaker was TM As. speech title was "Enjoy your journey". From “Understanding Your Communication Style” in pathways, he delivered the speech including a questionnaire about his communication style and previous work experience.
The fourth speaker was TM Fw. Speech title was "Nothing is more important than health!". She talked about her travel experience with humour at Lake Biwa when she took a bicycle on GW.
