Minato-Mirai TMC 441st Meeting on September 13th, 2025
Today was an exceptional meeting. In the first part, we watched the winning speeches of the Toastmasters World Championship.
本日は非素晴らしい会合でした。前半では、トーストマスターズ世界大会の優勝スピーチを視聴しました。
In the second part, all attendees practised impromptu speeches, as if it were a Table Topics session. A Table Topics session in Toastmasters is a meeting segment focused on impromptu speaking, where participants respond to surprise questions or prompts to build quick thinking and organizational skills.
後半では、まるでテーブルトピックスセッションのように、全員が即興スピーチを練習しました。トーストマスターズにおけるテーブルトピックスセッションとは、即興スピーチに焦点を当てた会合のセグメントであり、参加者は予期せぬ質問やプロンプトに応答することで、即座の思考力と構成力を養います。
Table Topics sessions are constantly engaging.
The more people, the more perspectives we can get from any given topic.

Impromptu speeches can be difficult.

There's no hearsals. Articulating ideas as you speak can be daunting.

Minato-Mirai Toastmasters Club has a rich variety of members with different nationalities, age groups, professions, hobbies, and so on.
We enjoy learning public speech, presentation, and leadership together.
We hold our meetings from 14:00 to 16:00 on the 2nd/4th Saturdays every month.
