Meeting ミーティング
The theme of this meeting was "Autumn Has Arrived." Well, not quite yet.
The weather now is just slightly cooler than last week.
October and November are arguably the best periods to travel in Japan. Not hot anymore, but not cold yet. During this period, we can see the leaves changing colors as they fall, so that just new ones can be born next spring.
This club just lost one leaf today. Ms. Kamiya moved to a faraway place that makes it difficult for her to attend the meetings. She'll be missed. Just like the cycle of seasons, we'll always look forward to seeing new leaves (or maybe an old one?) again.
今回のミーティングのテーマは「秋が来た」でした。
まあ、まだ少し早いですね。今の天気は先週よりほんの少し涼しい程度です。
10月と11月は、日本を旅するのに間違いなく最高の時期と言えるでしょう。
暑くもなく、まだ寒くもない。この時期には、葉が色づきながら落ちていく様子を見ることができ、そうして新しい葉が来春に生まれるのです。
本日、このクラブから一枚の葉が落ちました。かみやさんが遠方へ転居され、会議への出席が難しくなったのです。かみやさんの不在は寂しいものです。季節の巡りと同じく、私たちは常に新たな葉（あるいは古葉？）の芽を心待ちにしています。

Our club's president was absent, but somehow managed to attend the meeting.

Minato-Mirai Toastmasters Club has a rich variety of members with different nationalities, age groups, professions, hobbies, and so on.
We enjoy learning public speech, presentation, and leadership together.
We hold our meetings from 14:00 to 16:00 on the 2nd/4th Saturdays every month.
