12/3(日)新人戦速報(Rookie Contest Report)

Rookie Speech Competition 2017 in Kanagawa was held at Gender Equality Center Yokohama on Sunday December 3rd. There were 9 contestants from the Toastmasters Clubs in Kanagawa.

TM Y.T. gave a speech as a contestant from Minato-Mirai Toastmasters Club and won the 3rd. Congrats, TM Y.T.!

His speech title was "Hard Way". He talked about the lesson learned from the hard decision and hard work to enter the Japanese university of his choice though he grew up in the US and never learned Japanese in school.

12月3日(日)に男女共同参画センター横浜で、トーストマスターズクラブの新人戦がありました。神奈川県内のトーストマスターズクラブから9人のコンテストが英語コンテストに出場しました。

みなとみらいトーストマスターズクラブからは、Y.T.さんが英語コンテストに出場。3位入賞しました。

スピーチタイトルは、"Hard Way"。米国育ちで学校で日本語を習ったことがないにも関わらず、ある事情から日本の大学への入学を決意し、日本語の猛勉強に励んだ経験とその教訓についてのプレゼンでした。
