Word of the Day (WOD): Embrace
<Opening/初めに>
The theme of this meeting was “Summer of Joy.”
As we approach midsummer, we look forward to all those activities that warm weather allows us to do and that bring us joy. It also reminds us to enjoy life with optimism and high energy. And with this state of mind, a new year started at Toastmasters, bringing a new team of club officers who will serve until June of next year.
We are grateful to all officers who embraced the responsibility of helping this club remain active and functioning well.
今回のミーティングのテーマは 「喜びの夏」。
真夏に近づくにつれ、私たちは暖かい気候が私たちに喜びを与えてくれるあらゆる活動を楽しみにしています。また、高いエネルギー、楽観的に人生を楽しむことを思い出させてくれます。
このような心境で、トーストマスターズの新年がスタートし、来年6月まで務めるクラブオフィサーの新チームが誕生しました。
このクラブが活動的で機能し続けるための責任を引き受けてくれたすべてのオフィサーに感謝します。

Minato-Mirai Toastmasters Club has a rich variety of members with different nationalities, age groups, professions, hobbies, and so on.
We enjoy learning public speech, presentation, and leadership together.
We hold our meetings 14:00-16:00 on 2nd/4th Saturdays every month.

横浜市のみなとみらい、関内、桜木町周辺で活動しているみなとみらいトーストマスターズクラブは英語スピーチを楽しく練習し、話し方、プレゼンテーション、リーダーシップを学ぶことができる場です。
毎月第2、第4土曜日の14:00〜16:00に例会を行っています。
当クラブは幅広い年代層・国籍・職業や趣味など、様々な異なるバックグラウンドを持ちながら楽しく交流を深め、ともに学んでいます。
